I was responding to that remark. If you have problems with it, direct it to monavis
As someone who had 2 miscarriages and wanted them to develop to adulthood, I saw nothing that looked human. Then after it resembles a human in progress, a woman has the right legally to decide what she can handle, it still is no one’s business except her, and her doctor as to how she is physically able to carry it to term. The law has already established the time. By then most women had made a choice.
Self defense is her right, just as if someone were trying to take her life with a gun, she has the right to defend herself. If one doesn’t know her circumstance they have no right to judge. Maybe they should start looing to see why they feel the need to judge. I was under the impression that Christians were not to Judge…guess I am wrong about some? The man they choose to follow wasn’t out looking for sinners, at least that is my understanding; if the Bible is correct, he made exceptions to the rule.
The first one is no surprise since humans and chimps share 96% of their DNA. IMO, the second one does look monkeyish. Fortunately, science rarely employs the “looks like” test.
you have a million grains of sand. We can safely say its a heap of sand. now take away a grain and it is still a heap of sand. keep removing one grain at a time, at what point does it stop being a heap of sand?
I can draw a bunch of lines. One at the end of the first trimester when the unfettered right to abortion (or what SHOULD be an unfettered right) end and the state can start imposing some restrictions and another at the end of the second trimester when the state can prohibit abortion that are not necessary to prevent death and disability.
Thats not what the “life begins at concenption crowd” believes. They call Plan B an abortion pill.
If you would only replace “30 year old guy” with “third trimester fetus”, we’d be on the same page.
Anti-abortion folks draw a line that brooks no understanding of the subtlety or nuance
Its a bit more than leaving the door unlocked. And I certainly think that the woman has a duty to evict within a reasonable period of time, say three to six months.
I’m not sure that you represent the mainstream of society except in the sense that the mainstream of society does not believe in “life begins at conception” They certainly believe it begins sometime before birth.
It can be proven that human life began before conception it is a passed on thing from a man’s sperm, to a woman’s egg. Just as in any living thing it is passed on through the ages. If this were not so we would not have ancestors!
