Death always comes in threes. First Farrah, then Michael, who’s next?
Ed McMahon, Farrah, Michael
You forgot David Carradine and Ed McMahon. Farrah completed the first trifecta. Michael is starting the second.
I’d warn Mary Tyler Moore to be on her guard.
good grief. see what happens when you say : first ed mcmahon, now farrah, wonder who the third is?!
cnn is holding on critical condition.
oop, just went to reporter on the scene. michael collapsed, his brother was there called 911. brother and sisters are at hospital, father on the way.
Ed McMahon. It was 70s & 80s nostalgia week evidently.
Are these both typos, or do I need to look up negative contractions again? Or “he wasn’t there” as in he wasn’t conscious, and “he wasn’t in full arrest” as in there’s something worse he could have been in?
CNN just reported that “Michael Jackson has a following similar to the Grateful Dead…”
That just took the prize for “WTF??” comment of the day.
Major news outlets are saying he’s in a coma. Coulda sworn I already posted this.
Nope, it’s still leading the news here in SC.
None of the major news sources have made the call yet, but a couple of them have “Michael’s life in pictures” type slideshows, which are all but an obituary.
I thought Farrah completed the Bea Arthur, Ed McMahan triology. Were there two other dead celebrities that I missed?
The Jackson Four
…sorry…
Yeah, I had the same WTF moment.
Am I the only one thinking (if this turns out to be true) that now I can finally buy Thriller, since my money won’t actually be going into his pocket?
Nono.
First was David Carradine and one third of Ed McMahon. Next was the rest of Ed McMahon and two thirds of Farrah Fawcett. Finally was the last third of Farrah Fawcett and the whole of Michael Jackson.
Threes. It always comes in threes. Spooky.
Hell, it’s '60s, '70s, and ‘80s nostalgia today alone. Sky Saxon of the Seeds ("Pushin’ Too Hard") died today, too.
