I’m not racist, but…
I’m a doubter bas well. She seems like a nice kid but I’d imagine that her world is very controlled by people with a vested interest in Jackson’s legacy.
… I’m gonna go ahead and speculate on the race of a bunch of strangers.
That’s not racist, btw.
I don’t see the big deal. These kids are, for better or worse, minor celebrities most likely on their way to major status. If they have talent, great. If they don’t, they’ll still be in the Paris Hilton mould. Gossipy speculation about celebrities is extremely common. That’s why this is in CS and not GQ.
…because I’m capable of discussing race and phenotype without judgment.
I agree it’s not racist, but Mr. Mace implied I was. I didn’t appreciate it.
I wonder if perhaps MJ chose a sperm donor that was also a patient at the dermatology clinic where he met Debbie Rowe?
That might explain why the oldest kid has vitiligo. About 1/100 African American people have vitiligo, while only 1/1000 white people do. (Thus, my prior assumption that the oldest kid is likely Jackson’s biological offspring - it’s just damn unusual for a white kid to have vitiligo) But the odds get blurry real quick if he selected a donor from among people he might have bonded with at the dermatology clinic.
You’re right in that, that’s a possibility-- but as I mentioned previously in the thread, MJ repeatedly said that vitilgo ruined his life. I just can’t imagine him intentionally seeking someone out with that same disorder and intentionally giving it to his children.
It’s not JUST their skin tone that is leading to skepticism over Jackson’s paternity but Jackson’s general freakiness on the issue of sex to the point that even masturbation for sperm would seem icky, his obvious hatred of his own appearance (vitiligo might explain why he lightened his skin but it had nothing to do with why he mutilated his nose, straightened his hair, was skeletal in build, abused drugs, etc.), and his many other psychoses. Having somebody else father his children would not seem the least bit out of character for him.
Didn’t the littlel kid who played Oliver in the 60s film claim to be her father?
I tend to believe the same as you but I once saw a Lisa Marie Presley interview with Oprah Winfrey in which she addressed her marriage to Michael. This was long after the marriage had ended. Lisa stated that her marriage to Michael was real - in every sense of the word. I still find it hard to believe, and I think Oprah did too, but I don’t know why LMP would lie about it long after the fact?
During the same interview, when pressed by Oprah about why she thought Michael wanted to marry Lisa, Priscilla Presley stated something along the lines that her own personal opinion was that Michael wanted to have children and he wanted to have them with Lisa because she was the daughter of Elvis. If memory serves, LMP shut her mother up pretty fast after that remark. I’ll see if I can find a link.
