So she’s going to be in a film based on a new children’s book, “Lundon’s Bridge and the Three Keys,”
Does this girl look like she’s 1/4 African American to you?
How do you figure 1/4?
Michael Jackson was her father legally and in every other way that’s important but biologically- no way in hell. The DNA evidence would have to be examined by a team of 12 impartial geneticists before I’d even come close to believing it.
My google-fu isn’t working. Where is a picture of her and M (or family member who’s not surgeried) that can be compared? Her features are consistent but there’s nobody I can find with their original face, sans make-up, lighting and angle interfering.
I’m beginning to think those tv show reconstruction experts and such are exaggerating their abilities!
yes, she does. look at that rashida jones, they have about the same skin tone. but really, why do you care if she’s biologically his? does it impact your life in any way??
On the other hand, how does it impact your life? This gay man was a fraud in so many ways.
Well, this thread is about to go downhill fast.
She seems like a sweet kid. Hopefully her life will have success but less of the weirdness of her dad’s.
I’m curious about that too. I don’t think anyone disputes that both of Michael Jackson’s parents (Katherine and Joe Jackson) were black. So Michael Jackson’s children, regardless of their mother’s race, would be at least half-black.
If the insinuation is that Michael Jackson isn’t Paris Jackson’s biological father, why assume she’s a quarter black?
Maybe Micheal had her bleached.
On second glance, no - she’s not 1/2 or I’d say even 1/4.
I could be wrong but I’ve never seen a 1/4 or 1/2 that had hair like that.
That’s ignorant. You’re being ignorant.
Michael Jackson’s dad has blue or green eyes, which is a typical indicator that there’s some European heritage in there somewhere, but that’s kind of neither here nor there. The Jackson kids would be half-and-half by most people’s estimations.
I have always wondered about the Jackson kids. It’s idle curiosity, of course, and impacts my life not at all, but I’d still like to know who their biological parents are. I was originally of the opinion that the oldest kid, Prince, with his blond hair and Caucasian features, could not possibly be half-Jackson genetically. However, there’s been pictures of Prince published where he has a very large, obvious vitiligo spot on his arm, which would be a pretty odd coincidence if Michael Jackson isn’t his bio-dad.
The daughter, Paris, seems very pretty and poised.
I agree. I think Paris is absolutely gorgeous and looks very much like her biological mother, Debbie Rowe.
The youngest kid, “Blanket”, what is his parentage anyway? The tabloids have so many theories…

OK let’s cool it.
If you feel people have no right to discuss a celebrity’s parentage, fine, you’re entitled to your opinion, but not to threadshit here at the Straight Dope. I recommend you stay out of such threads and voice your objections in the pit.
FYI, the “That’s ignorant. You’re being ignorant” line is from South Park. They did a parody of Michael Jackson and he kept saying this to the other characters.
Ah. Gotcha. Well, the “play nice” directive still stands.
Really?
Here is a closer picture of her.
Now look at some other famous people who are biracial (half Black):
Mariah Carey
Wentworth Miller
Slash
Jason Kidd
Rashida Jones
Paris doesn’t look too different from many of them. I don’t really see a reason to doubt that it’s MJ’s kid.
she does look a bit like debbie rowe.
Hair can be straightened. I think you put a 'fro on her, she’d suddenly look at lot more “black”. I actually thought her brother (the older one) looked a lot more dubiously part black than she did.
Having said that, she comes across as amazingly normal considering the nuttiness she must have grown up around.
Of course not. Whenever we niggers mate with white folks, the offspring bear unmistakable signs of it until at least the sixth generation. Mark of Ham and all that.
