Fine, fine, it’s all a fabrication and lie. 59 times over according to the preceding link. In which case it should be easy to point to just one, thats O-N-E in your face, out-and -out unarguable lie.

Not, arguable misrepresentation, sinister camera angle, unfavourable colour filter or unflattering musical insert. One instance where Moore indicates a fact that is not true.

So where is it, we’re waiting?

There was a similar complaint from the anti-Moore folks about a scene in Bowling for Columbine in which it was alleged that Moore had overlaid the charges made against Willie Horton over the infamous turnstile ad in such a way as to make it look like that’s what the the original ad had done.

I watched the film on TV recently to check out this charge…

It should be pointed out that (IIRC) Moore retouched up this bit on the video/DVD release, and is different than the film version. I don’t know nearly enough about the context of the situation to comment further, however.

A clue for ya, Cloth: when Dave Kopel writes, “Michael Moore wasn’t from Flint, MI, he’s from a middle-class suburb of Flint!”, that is not an example of Moore lying – it’s an example of Mr. Kopel desperately looking for bullshit to pad his list with.

I read the same thing, but I believe (but don’t know for sure) that the versions of films released to premium cable channels are usually the same as the theatrical versions. The home video/DVD versions are prepared and released later than the cable versions. IANAL, YMMV, IMHO, etc. etc.
