Hi, teeming millions! Thanks for all the help with being stranded in Phoenix. Job is going well and personal/financial life has improved quite a bit. However, I’m in charge of F&B in the hotel and it seems we don’t have a current support contract for our MICROS system. Does anyone have a good online resource for learning about the system? I have a current, specific issue. But, I’d also like to have the information for future reference, since I know things like this will come up again.
Right now, I have some cash drops for previous days that were short, but I need to find out exactly which of my staff is short. The accountant couldn’t tell me. Couldn’t we query the MICROS system to examine the record of tickets against the hardcopy slips that were dropped by each bar/restaurant server?
