You’re right, my mistake. They only say it once. But then they show five different people logging in to their computer with touchscreen gestures. But if you’re paying attention, the ad is completely straightforward.
Ha ha, I DID roll my eyes and I meant every bit of it! It’s one thing to have an opinion; but at least try to use facts that you have verified outside of this thread. We’re all about the truth here; not jumping on a bandwagon. I like your not-so-thinly-veiled question about what company I work for. Of course the answer is: Neither. I just bought my second iPad last week. Yes I also have a Surface (RT) computer. I do prefer it over my iPad. One of its weakness (right now) is the lack of useful apps. I don’t care about game apps; I’m talking about useable apps. The funny thing is from my perspective most of the iPad lovers use their iPads primarily to play games on.
Oh, and regarding the hate for the commercial. I would like to invite everybody back in time to re-watch the iconic 1984 Mac ad. To quote from Johhny LA: “What does this commercial tell me about the product?” Any first year Marketing idea will tell you that marketing a product is sometimes done my marketing an idea. Didn’t that start with Sculley and Pepsi?
