Yes, 100%. If I’m planning on doing cardio that day I take a hand towel with me. Both the towel and my shirt end up soaked.
Interesting question. I have never been in a gym in my adult life, but I ride bikes a lot. And now, in my mid sixties, a forty mile ride will make my clothes sweaty. Fifteen years ago, in warm weather, that would make sweat drip off my chin. I assume that I just can’t manage the watts these days.

I’ve always sweated much more than other people though I’ve always been thin; I think it’s because I’m pretty tall. I sweat a lot whether weight lifting or running. Yet since I shower twice a day and use a little deodorant, other people don’t seem to mind.
I’ve been 58 for less than 2 months. I find that, IMO, my sweat output matches the physical effort. What I am constantly amazed by is how many weight lifting exercises also have a big cardio impact.
If you have never done kettlebell swings before, even 15 or 20 pounds of weight can make you sweat and gasp for breath.
