Who is the guy who gave him the data in the first place, and convinced him it was legit? That’s the guy Lumpy should be pissed at. He wouldn’t have come up with it on his own, or be able to interpret what he saw.
I’ve thought the same thing. Lindel isn’t smart enough to create the fake data. Certainly there is no way he could interpret it.
Was it all binary? I suppose he might have stumbled across something on the internet, I mean it’s pretty easy to convert a word doc to binary. So maaayyybee he figured that out to create this BS.
What makes you think data has to have a source? That sounds like woke liberal fake news thinking, to me. If it feels right to me, that’s all that matters.
This guy.
(But he didn’t “give” it to Mikey, he sold it to him for more than a million dollars.)
He is also, BTW, the guy behind Mikey’s WMD WiFi detectors.
My question is why he would have (or claim to have) election data in the first place. I feel like if I had a bunch of election data, I’d be arrested for election fraud.
I’ll have to look at the original story, but I feel like if someone told me they had election data proving there was fraud, I’d be dubious of their claim, not because I didn’t think it would prove there was fraud, but because I didn’t think they had election data.
I’m guessing Mike, like Rudy, really believed that they had proof of fraud because they took someone else’s word for it without checking it out themselves. Mike didn’t check out the data himself, and is out $5m. Rudy didn’t have any proof and ended up with legal problems over it. Habba (I think it was her) didn’t see proof that there were no documents left, and found herself in legal hot water.
On the one hand, this just goes to show that if you don’t do your due diligence, it’ll come back to bite you. It also proves that these people are well aware that their base will blindly believe what they’re told and, as such, are easy to manipulate.
Sounds like evidence of fraud. Just not the fraud Lindell was thinking of.
Lumpy was the victim.
I just wish that the wimpy Dems would take this kind of news and promote it. It wouldn’t change a LOT of minds, but could change a few, and every little bit helps. “Mike Lindell with Trump lose $5 million trying to prove election was rigged.”
I don’t think it could change any at this point. A lot of reporting has shown that most “independants” have such strong leans that they may as well be aligned with one of the political parties anyway. And if the actual indictments against Trump isn’t going to shake them, the financial losses of the laugably unhinged Lindell isn’t going to do it.
We’re at a point where the reporting from the SC Exit polls show that 61% of the primary voters (Republican that is) don’t believe Biden won. So everything that happened to Lindell (to those people) is absolutely caused by the sabotage Lindell claims to have happened over and over and over again.
And the rest probably would just feel superior to Lindell, after all, they’re smart and canny voters who wouldn’t fall for such laughable traps.
No, spend the advertising on something that -might- make a few more people hesitate - hammer on abortion issues, issues about Republicans tanking border security bill, the actual economic numbers not the version the Republicans want to share, etc.
But even then, I’d say most people’s minds are unalterably made up by this point, barring Trump having a fully on dementia that can’t be waved away by even pro-MAGA networks, this isn’t going to be about changing minds, it’ll be about turnout. And Lindell is too far removed from Trump proper to change that metric IMHO.
Minnesota federal judge Dulce J. Foster noted on Friday that Lindell has missed every deadline and has not even responded to the court.
Things are going about as well as expected.
He’s at the DNC this week getting yelled at. (But the protesters are such annoying douchebags that I almost want to side with Mikey.)
Was he so clueless that he thought the only protesters at the DNC would be Republicans? If not, then he was asking for that kind of reception.
Try siding with neither and just bask in the hilarity.
I could understand this mistake, but when you pull up and are met with masses of Palestinian flags, how do you not recalculate and cut your losses?
Maybe he assumed they were false flags?
This is Mike Lindell. He probably has no idea what the flag of Palestine looks like, and assumed it was a new white supremacist or Christian Nationalist flag.
He was 100% asking for that reception. He was trolling the libs and wanting to get some good footage of making them all mad, because in his corner of the world that counts as winning.
And now, his lawyers have been fined for using AI-generated court filings.
In for a penny, in for a pounding?
Now, that is good.
