Miller Analogies v. GRE

I’m preparing to apply to grad school to become a librarian. I’m trying to decide between the GRE and the Miller Anaologies exams. I’m leaning towards the analogies test, because I tend to perform better on analytic exams.

Has anybody here taken the Miller Analogies? How does it compare to the GRE?
Help!!!

Anybody?

You can guess where I stand on the subject.

[sub]Actually, I haven’t a clue what you’re talking about. Enjoy the free bump, though.[/sub]

If you can do either, play to your strengths. It’s been 18 years since I took either, but I kicked ass on the MAT but didn’t do as well on the GRE because I had to pencil write and couldn’t re-edit easily. Plus I have horrible printing (I gave up writing in 8th grade) and tire when hand writing.

I took the MAT when I applied for grad school at Harvard (they didn’t accept GRE at the time.) I’ve taken the GRE, too. MAT is much, much easier, IMO, but my verbal scores on everything are always really high. I remember actually thinking the MAT was fun. I’m fairly sure I never thought that about the GRE’s.
