Now I can finally open up a GD on the climate constant that I wanted to open for some time but was worried about him shitting all over it.
I have no idea who or what y’all are talking about, but I have noticed a slight warming in the board climate in the past day or so.
You are mistaken, the east coast dopers feel like the board is quite frigid.
He could run for Vice President. That would leave him plenty of time.
Thanks for all the kind words, everyone, but it was Idle Thoughts who brought up the subject in the mod loop, and who did all the footwork in digging up the cites for bumping threads. I was just the hatchet man; Idle deserves the lion’s share of the credit here.

Oh, my. I didn’t quite understand what this was about at first. Sure, Miller is a good mod, but I didn’t quite understand the deification. Now I do.
Thank you, Miller, and thank you, too, Idle Thoughts. Anyone who has walked around for a long time with a splinter in their foot and finally pulled it out knows the feeling.
I’ll drink to that. Of course I’ve been known to drink to almost anything. But I still think he does a great job.

I too applaud Miller, not for any specific recent actions which may have been long overdue and desperately needed, but just because other reasons I’m sure I’ll think of in a minute.
NM, I misread the thread title as Hitler for president. Honest. I like Miller.
If Miller is willing to stand up for it (and a good debate), I’ll throw in an opposing run under my quadrennial “Damn Good Third Choice” party.
I turned legally eligible for the Presidency by age three years ago. This’ll be my first ‘legal’ run.

In this post 9/11 world, where trolls run amok, unfettered and unmolested, what do you bring to the table as a solution to this growing problem. Air strikes? Boots on the ground? Would you use nuclear weapons? You have a tough hill to climb to beat proven masters of the art like Miller and Idle.
