In the Navy, when the Chief makes a recommendation, he’s always right.
Boneheaded enlisted men (me, in this case) go and listen to the Senior Officers (Nickrz, in this case).
Serious trouble ensues.
The Chief returns to the scene, and calmly tells everyone how to fix things that would not have been fouled up in the first place if only people had listened to him in the first place.
So it is in the Navy, so it is on the SDMB.
