Smoke, smoke, smoke! I love smoking! I’d almost go to a bar with dopers JUST to smoke! Hell, I’ll even be designated driver just so that I can smoke that much more!
In fact, I think I’ll get a stoma installed just so that I can smoke through it and my mouth at the same time! Think how AWESOME that will be!!!1

I’ll second Tiny Lounges’ chocolate martini…yummy! I’m at a new job in Oakbrook Terrace which requires working every other Saturday 
but I get off work at 3 so showing up should not be a problem.
I like Black Rock and The Grafton as well, as long as we can talk to each other and parking is not totally insane[sub]cough cough Wicker Park[/sub] I’m flexible as to venue.
Isn’t knowledge contagious? Maybe we should have a big bowl of Chaser for everyone.
What’s with the claustrophobic drinking, people? (Gundy and [B[Joey Hemlock**) I need ROOOM when I booze it up. Isn’t the Tiny Lounge closing next year or something?

Speaking of Executive Decisions, it looks like the big ChiDope will be the weekend of May 22nd. I’ll be starting a thread sometime in January.
You know, I want to be that person, and say “Black Rock”, but the Grafton has food, and Black Rock doesn’t, right?
I’m still thinking The Map Room might be an awfully nice place.
The Map Room has a great beer selection, but no food. HopLeaf, however, has both an excellent beer selection (comparable to map room, 200-some beers, ton of stuff on tap) and also has food. A bit on the fancy side of bar eats, steamed mussles, cheese plate, ham and gruyere, etc., but not too expensive.
The Map Room sounds good to me, too. How about that for the mini?
Oooh, I like Gaudere’s HopLeaf suggestion, as it’s very close to home for me. BUT this is getting silly. (ChiDopers? Silly? Wha?)
I declare we will go to Black Rock. Northwest corner of Damen & Addison. Saturday, January 31. Festivities shall begin at 7 pm and last long into the night.

Dinner at Cafe 28 at 7 p.m.
Then, beer and Germanness and potentially whippings at Resi’s Bierstube.
Followed by more booze at Black RockBlack Rock, probably somewhere around 10:30, 11, maybe later.
