When I opened up my news this evening and saw that the police precinct was burning… I’m going to be honest, it made me happy. Fuck those fuckers and their god damn precinct.
Arrest the murderer. Isn’t that what cops are supposed to do?? Arrest murderers? What the fuck is wrong with this country?
Sarcasm doesn’t always come across in plain text the way it would in real life. If you’ve read the whole thread you’ll note that I’m not the only one who didn’t get it was sarcasm. If two people who didn’t pick up the sarcasm commented then there are certainly more who didn’t pick it up who didn’t comment.
But, by all means, continue to encourage people to post in a manner that can be misinterpreted rather than encouraging clarity.
Yes, but I didn’t read that thread so I (and others who haven’t read that thread) have no clue it’s a “callback” and if getting manson’s post requires the reader has read that thread including a link might be a good idea.
What, young white people aren’t allowed to be outraged over blatant racism and the murder of a cuffed man face-down on the pavement?
Minneapolis is majority white - if the protesting crowds reflect that it might be because being opposed to allowing police to murder without consequence it’s just a “black issue” but one that should outrage any decent human being.
Minnesota police arrest CNN reporter and crew, live on camera.
The police gave no reason for the arrest. The news crew had been standing where the police had requested earlier, and offered repeatedly to move.
White CNN reporter standing near them was approached, identified himself, and allowed to stay. Arrested reporter was black/Hispanic. I’m sure that is a coincidence.
Yeah, let’s honor the flag of the country that has enslaved black people in one way or another for 80% - 90% of this country’s history since the Virginia Colony was first established, but let’s not make state-sanctioned murder of black people a political issue - especially not when 70-80% of the NFL is black.
