At what point do minor league baseball players who don’t quite make to the Majors quit? Or are they asked to leave?
My sister had a classmate who made it all the way to AAA, but left when he turned 25. We don’t know if he just quit or was asked to leave.

From what I’ve seen, usually their contract is just not renewed. While some players in MLB are offered multi-year, multi-million dollar contracts, most minor league players are usually just signed for a season or two to a dirt cheap contract that’s bought out with little trouble.
DAMN! This link says first year minor league baseball players make a MAXIMUM of $850 a month.
