Misleading Business names (that you've encountered in your travels)

Japanese Zaibatsu make a huge range of random and seemingly unconnected products, though - Mitsubishi, for example, make (or are heavily involved in) cars, trucks, televisions, airconditioners, banking, coal mining and beer brewing, among other things.

My previous company had a life insurance package provided by Samsung… I thought of it as a money back warranty in case of equipment malfunction.

Perhaps not so misleading, but an odd name anyway… we have a Long’s Meat Market here.

And though it is not a business name and doesn’t specifically fit the thread… we used to have a Farrell’s Ice Cream Parlor here years back with a sundae called “Kathy’s Pink Surprise”. I was just looking at their menu online… seems that one is no longer offered.

I’ve been to the 5 Star Coffee Shop several times, but never even seen one star there.

I’d be worried if it was Long Pork Meat Market.
