I was being offensive in my use of girly. I guess I’m being condescending because I want women to fight back, not cower in ATMB or go off to some kaffeeklatsch board where you don’t feel “threatened.” Nobody can threaten you here. Wait, I think I have it all figured out. I read “Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus” and this is a classic case of “women want support when they have problems while men just want to fix things.” That explains everything in a one-sentence paraphrasing of an entire book (for those who haven’t read it that actually IS the entire book, repeated endlessly), and if it weren’t true then why was it a bestseller?

That’s exactly what I believe. Why is it horrible? It’s how things get done. It’s still very much a man’s world and if you want to succeed you need to stick up for yourself, not against a guy who basically agrees with you and supports you, but against those turds that really poison the board for women.
