It’s been a while since I’ve read any comic books, but there was one character that always, and I mean always described as unstoppable. Of course I’m talking about Juggernaut. Now, like I said, it’s been a while since I’ve read any comics, but by the time I was done reading he had been stopped by Gladiator, Nimrod, Onslaught, and if it counts, in a cross over when he was in the Ultraverse as part of the New Exiles, he was actually damaged by… oh hell, I forget his name, anyway, and after comming back to Marvel comics, getting the full power of the evil aspect of Cytorak, he was still beaten by the Hulk in a later fight. Yet, as far as I know, he’s never quit being refereed to as unstoppable, which is clearly not the case.
So, are the any characters of Marvel, DC, Dark Horse, or whatever, that have a certain description that every time you see it, you just think, oh please, that is such b.s.?
Anyone who’s “trapped in a world he never made.”
Huh? Just what is that supposed to mean?
The Martian Manhunter. I’ve never seen him cruising for guys. What a ripoff.
What comic was that from?
MacSpon has company;
“Trapped in a world he never made” was originally the sub-title for the Howard the Duck comic book.
Hype to the contrary, Superman is not in fact made of steel.
And the Invincible Iron Man has proved to be vincible on more than one occassion.
Considering Bruce Banner’s Ph.D. in physics, personally I find the Hulk quite credible. But that’s just me.
Brilliant! I love it!
