Missing Track on Stranger Things 4 Score? (possible spoilers)

The 80-track score (instrumental music) from Stranger Things 4 has been released digitally. I have been waiting for a particular piece of music from the show since I heard it in Episode 7. It starts around the 1:21 mark during a long monologging scene. However, going through all the tracks on the album, I have not been able to locate it? Was this music not composed specifically for the show? Is it from something else and that’s why it’s not on the official score album? Or am I just stupid and I can’t find it but it’s on there somewhere. The articles from about the score seem to indicate that all instrumental music was included in double-volume album. Any help with this would be appreciated. Thanks.

It’s not part of the original score for the show. The piece is called Prophecies by Phillip Glass which he originally scored for the 1982 film Koyaanisqatsi.

It doesn’t look to be on the Stranger Things soundtrack either (meaning the collection of pre-existing songs).

But the Koyaanisqatsi soundtrack with the Prophecies track is available to stream on Apple Music and Spotify. You can also purchase Prophecies as a single on iTunes. Or you can hear it on YouTube.

THANK you so much! I waited for the score to come out only to find it not on there. Then I checked the soundtrack after thinking it wasn’t original. But didn’t see anything like it there either.

Thanks, again.

The SDMB always comes through.
