Miz has been on fire since the start of May. In eight starts through May and June:

I’ve been wanting to start a thread of “betting” on the time until his major arm surgery. Almost no one has Nolan Ryan’s tendons and ligaments.

And, Misiorowski had another great outing today against the Rockies: 5 IP, 1 hit and 1 ER (on a solo homer), 12 Ks, 0 walks.

Thanks. I didn’t mean that he’d need surgery this year. The odds are probably over 50%.

Unfortunately for the Yankees Cody Bellinger is out with a hamstring injury. 10 day injury list. Pitching has kept them in the thick of it but hitting has been abysmal. They really need Cody in there with Judge out.
