I just checked the score of the Houston KC game on ESPN. ESPN has it at 3-1 in favor of Houston after 2 innings. The game is delayed. If they are unable to resume the game today, how would they handle it? I know the Astros wouldn’t win automatically. Would the game resume in the 3rd inning tomorrow, or would they start from scratch? As an Astros fan I wouldn’t want this lead to go to waste.
They generally will make the attempt to pick up where the game left off due to weather.
In the playoffs, they will consider any rain delayed game to be suspended, and will resume at the point of delay.
