Not me! I love being crazy. People give you candy and talk to you real slow and gentle-like.
Cool! I’m attending a Burns supper on Monday, where actual Scots will be present. Many of us Americans will be wearing kilts.
Yes, so why is everyone so “shocked?”
These things happen among those trying to “show-off.”
It’s been happening for thousands of years.
What 'shocks" me is people think others will act with “common sense,” and the Media will report when people act with “common sense” rather than what people want to see/hear… :rolleyes:
What do you mean by this? I’m confused on what the joke is.
Dice=craps

Oh, I hadn’t heard that one. It doesn’t surprise me that I hadn’t, I grew up in an area with virtually zero people that were not of european descent so these things really didn’t come up. Also explains why I didn’t know ‘coon’ was a racial slur til a thread here on the dope a while back.
Sometimes it takes a while. The Republican party controlled congress for 12 years and it wasn’t even racism that ultimately brought them down. It was the idiocy of the non-racist half of the Republican equation (PNAC) topped off by homophobia. Of course if you think of the Virginia senate race, it very well may have been racism that gave the Democrats the majority in the senate.
