Red Boat is perhaps my favorite. It’s a premium fish sauce, and always ranks high in taste-offs. I also like Tiparos for a more economical one. Three Crabs is decent. Squid is okay. Thai Kitchen I don’t like. There was also some Filipino brand I bought that was just revolting, but I can’t remember the name.
I made some tom kha gai the other day, but that ain’t no noodle soup (I’ve been keeping tabs on my carbs, so had to pick a noodle-less Asian option.)
