120 MPH if you dropped it out of a plane, maybe. :rolleyes: Top speed was more like 45-50 MPH.

Wikipedia says it is more like an absolute top speed of 65 mph but that 120 mph figure jumped out at me as well and not in a good way. I am not sure who would volunteer to push a Model A to 120 mph with its brakes and handling characteristics even if that poor little 40 hp engine could be forced to do it. Even driving my 269 hp SUV with great brakes and handling on smooth interstate highways that fast can be risky.

Don’t be daft man, 120mph is nothing in any modern car… whether it’s suitable for traffic etc is a different question
