Model rocketeers please respond!!!

I recently purchased my first dual stage rocket (The Echostar). I’m still in the production phase, but I’m wondering if anyone could give me some pointer for launch day. I’m not a novice so I already know a lot of general procedures and tricks (such as adding a spoonfull of talc after you’ve put the chute in, so it’s easier to see when the chute deploys). I’m mearly looking for tips on multi-stage launches. Any ideas would be much appreciated.

I launched them just the same as a regular 1 stage. The only advice I can give that is if your going for Altitude, use a low or 0 delay motor. Otherwise, the old girl will start to pitch down quite a bit before the second stage lites up and you might be covering a lot of ground in the horizontal as opposed to the vertical… makes it a bit of fun finding it especially if you are in an urban park setting with many houses/building around you.

As an aside, I used to just tape a second engine onto the first on even a 1 stage rocket to give it that extra boost. Worked fine most of the time
