While we’re discussing BIG DOGS, it was PET DAYS at the Minnesota Renaissance Festival. The Northstar Irish Wolfhound Club was there with a half-dozen Wolfies. Many Danes/pits/Dobies(be still my heart) and other large dogs were in attendance. I was so excited I nearly peed myself and made dozens of doggy friends. I even convinced my younger brother, who has been attacked twice by dogs, to pet one of the Doberman pups. Vaya couldn’t go because large crowds scare her, and it sucked that she didn’t get to meet all the doggos I did. She’s been spoiled rotten with new treats and toys though - sorry checking account.
Also, Corgi and Daschund races are just about the most adorable thing ever.
We all know what the solution to the illegal immigration problem is: Enforce the laws about hiring undocumented workers on everyone who can be shown to have hired them, regardless of whether they were “fooled” by documentation.
Destroy the demand, destroy the supply.

I’m still confused. What exactly does the “$75 … Or fixing hurricane damage” mean? Do other extremely liberal Democrats agree with JBGUSA that unions, while necessary to fix hurricane damage if we assume OP’s 1st paragraph is sensical, are a major problem today?

Like others, I wondered what the Debate is here. Was it just a chance for JBGUSA to show off his extreme liberalism? He’s seen Fiddler on the Roof and thinks MLK was eloquent? Many of those calling for removal of racist statues were white; are those whites in a “minority”? Which minority is that? Certainly not “extremely liberal Democrat” since that’s what JBGUSA is. He even voted for Clinton!

Try as an experiment going on the California voting website, making up a name, social security number, address, and you can become a California voter. I stopped before hitting the “submit” button but it’s scarily easy.
I haven’t had a student loan since I paid it off in the late 1980’s as a prudent use of a rather small inheritance from a not very wealthy uncle. Could have bought a BMW but chose not to, much to my mother’s consternation.
I know! And I once made myself a fake driver’s license with some crayons and cardboard. I mean, I didn’t show it to anyone or drive using it, but it definitely proves how easy it is to forge one.
Go fill out the paperwork to get a drivers license and put your name down as Bugs Bunny and your address as 1234 Loony Tunes Drive…then put your application in your pocket and walk out the door.

Filling out any form online is “scarily easy”. Filling out a form is the beginning of the process, not the end. After you hit “submit”, lots of other stuff happens. “Submit” doesn’t mean that you are becoming a California voter. “Submit” means you finished the form and are submitting it for the next step.

1/2 pound butter, melted
3 cups chocolate sandwich cookie crumbs (recommended: Oreos)
1 gallon coffee ice cream (amount varies depending on size of the bowl) (I prefer using chocolate ice myself)
2 cups chocolate fudge sauce
Whipped cream
Chocolate sauce
Directions
Melt butter. Grind cookie crumbs in a food processor. Add butter to crumbs to make a formable consistency. Press into a very large pie pan leaving a slight mound in the center and the crust going all the way up on edge. Freeze the crust for several hours. Pack ice cream into a mixing bowl the same diameter as the pie pan. Freeze the ice cream in the bowl for several hours. Invert the ice cream onto the crust and work the ice cream out of the bowl. Pour fudge sauce on top of the mud pie. Cover with plastic and freeze again. Cut into slices to serve. Decorate with whipped cream and chocolate sauce.
