I don’t mean to pick on my mother but, by golly, can she do some silly things. And better yet she does them on an almost daily basis. This is todays:
She comes home from the shop and tells me about what she has bought. It seems she has purchased two different packets of Garlic Bread (we are having Spaghetti Bolognese, well Linguine Bolognese)
Why two packets of Garlic Bread?
Because one of them is savoury Garlic Bread.
“But mum,” I say, “Garlic Bread is savoury”
She looks at me puzzled. I ask her to check the ingredients for anything special.
She finds…
Herbs.
I say, “Mum, that’s in both packs”
Yup, so now we’re both wondering what’s so special about savoury Garlic Bread. Oh dear.
