IMHO this is a great choice. I’m eagerly awaiting the first Monday Night blowout just so he can take over. Can’t you just see him getting off on a rant about going for it on fourth and 2?
He may not know a lot about the sport (or maybe he does), but it’s going to be entertaining!
I think he’ll do a pretty good job. Can’t be any worse than some of the ones they already have…
Maybe that’s what they need, is someone who actually IS funny, instead of all those guys who try to be funny but really suck.
Plus, I had to post a reply, because I felt sorry for this lonely thread that had no replies at all… 
I do that too! There’s usually nothing wrong with lonely threads – in fact, they’re usually so succinct that a reply isn’t needed. But it’s like watching a wallflower at the prom – maybe she doesn’t even want to dance, but she still looks miserable.
