Anyone know what Mono 706 8073…421 Robot Sonic refers to in Prodigy’s Diesel Power?
It’s “Model 706 …”
I asssumed the song was sung as if the DJ/Rapper was a robot and that was his Model number.
Wow, I’ve just been listening to this recently and I have no clue. Looking it up on google, though, it appears that it is Model 706 8073 … 421 Robot Sonic
Some places put 3073 instead of 8073 too. I always figured it was a phone number in the 421 area code but I havn’t found anything. Robot Sonic sounds like the name of a record store or something, so I assumed it was an advertisement but I could be severely wrong.
Maybe it’s a tribute to the video-game nemesis of Sonic and Tails and Knuckles?
