Montag pencils and Montag paper: Same family?

OK, those of us of a certain vintage and geographical location might remember Blue Horse notebook paper, which was apparently manufactured by the Montag Brothers Paper company in Atlanta, founded in the 1930s.

One Sig Montag founded the “National Pencil Company,” also in Atlanta, in the early 1900s, although the name Leo Frank is the name most closely associated with that business endeavor.

Were the Montag brothers related to Sig Montag? Possibly just a coincidence, but same name, same city, pencils, paper. . . could be?

What ever happened to the National Pencil Company and the Montag Brothers Paper Company? Presumably they went out of business, but the only blurb I’ve been able to find on either indicated that Blue Horse notebook paper ceased to be manufactured in 1970, with no indicaiton on whether the company survived much longer.
