MP&HG was not just the first MP I saw. It was also the first HBO I was exposed to. In the late 70’s/early 80’s I was around 10 at my Great Uncles house at Fort Myer (possibly this was thanksgiving. Can’t remember) and sat in the back room watching it alone while everyone else did their thing. I’d never seen anything like it because there had never been anything like it.
