Gr8Kat, I have been in a similar position to the one you describe. My (then) husband and I were very different in our political/religious/philosophical views. He was always proud when I had a letter to the editor printed, however, and did not insist that because we were married, we had to think alike. I am glad you and your husband worked this out.
