Religious experts have called London the evangelical hub of radical Islam in the West. Some see the conversion of England to Islam as an important strategy for winning Europe.

Omar Izzadeen and a number of other young men belong to a radical Muslim group called Al Muhajiroun. Their mission is to establish Al Khilafah, a global Islamic regime, starting here in Britain.

“Our message is to bring Islam to the world. Islam will conquer the White House, will conquer in Downing Street,” Izzadeen said. “It means conquer, it means the Americans will live under Islam, like it or not. So will the UK.”

On a Friday night, Izzadeen instructs the group to follow the example of the 19 hijackers of September 11th. He reminds them that it only took a “few good men” to bring terror to America.

“It really shook the Americans, a Superpower, shook by 19! And it showed their weakness. You see brothers, if people put their minds to something, they can do anything, and in particular, the believers,” Izzadeen said.

While the majority of Muslims here have nothing to do with these radical groups, experts say Islam is becoming a major force to be reckoned with in Britain.

And for those who do not care to believe in their god, what are the consequences? Hamza said, "Well, if you live in my property and you don’t pay me my rent, you get out! And Jihad is to get you out, this is the property of god, you don’t worship him, you get out. How are you going to get out? You get killed!"

Hi guys! I’m not sure this is the best part of this site to post this particular message on. If this is the first thing non-Muslims learn about Islam, they’ll shy away from it. Non-Muslims need to understand the basics of Islam before they can grasp the reasons why people are fighting and dying for it without hating and fearing Muslims (and thinking all Muslims are fundamentalists that are out to get them). They won’t be able to have any empathy with the mujahideen at all until they have a basic comprehension of what it is the mujahideen are really fighting for.

Perhaps if you’re going to keep this article here, it would be beneficial to post something from a Muslim that is less of a fundamentalist as well- somebody who might be considered a modernist or a progressive. I’m not endorseing either view over the other- I just think that it would be beneficial to have both represented, so that non-Muslims who don’t yet know much about Islam realize that there is currently a pluralism of political views within the ummah- just so they recognise that both views exist. It night also help to have a couple of posts permanently here about just the basics- the 5 pillars, the life of Muhammad (peace be upon him), etc. I know there are some articles on the main page, but I think it would be beneficial to have some here on the forum as well. That way, whenever they get on the message board there would be some basic info for them to reference before they start posting, and they wouldn’t be able to miss the information because they didn’t enter through the home page or something. What do you guys think, any opinions on this?

What do you guys think, any opinions on this?

My opinion is that the quote above makes a total mockery of

“There is no compulsion in Islam”.

Try doing a bit of research on when and why that verse was revealed and what it pertains to.

The craziest is when Tilton and Robertson snuck onto a plane, slit the throats of some flight attendants, killed the pilots, and crashed the planes into Saudi buildings!

Oh, that’s right. Never happened. But I do vaguely recall a terrorist attack or two against America (and Americans abroad), carried out by Islamists.
