- Name two video games that John Connor was seen playing in the arcade in Terminator 2: Judgment Day [One of them was identified as Afterburner, the other has not yet been named]
I am pretty sure its Missle Command.
I am pretty sure its Missle Command.
Correct and correct
Correct
Correct (And it’s not a coincidence that he met up with #60, as I was racking my brain for trivial knowledge, so several times ended up with thematically linked questions in close proximity…)
Correct. (I really need to see Victory at Sea)
Correct (as you looked up, you google-weenie
)
You’re on the right track. He was at UW-Madison. But he had a specifically controversial job. (I believe he was also chair of the math department for a while, but that’s beside the point).
Haverford is correct. (It’s my alma mater as well, which is how I happen to know… other famous Haverford grads include Dave Barry and Maxfield Parrish. Chevy Chase attended, but did not graduate).
Incorrect.
Kind of. But I’m looking for the frequently-used derogatory term for them… the equivalent of “lizards”.
wrong and wrong
Close but not correct
OK, I may have to clarify this one, as I was asking with incomplete information, and have now googled around some… Peggy apparently appeared on both NBC and CBS (in perhaps her greatest NBC appearance, she appeared in a production of As You Like It with Pea Boy). Also appearing on NBC was the Bookmobile Lady, played by the same actress. When Dave moved to CBS, the same actress played a character who was obviously a renamed version of Peggy the Foul Mouthed Chambermaid, likely due to “intellectual property” concerns. Later on, the character’s name was changed back to Peggy The Foul Mouthed Chambermaid. The question is, what was that other, briefly-used, name?
You’re right about “Fyunch Click”. And you’re right about Hiro Protagonist. But you’re wrong about Cryptonomicon
Correct. (Also, it’s perhaps the worst magic card ever printed.)
Correct
Sadly, you are wrong again
You’re correct about 45 and 51. You’re wrong about 43, unless he went to Haverford for undergrad and Yale for business school, or something of that sort. Your answer for 11 is an understandable error… in later versions of the game they were, in fact, referred to as “Mad Monks”, but they had a different name in the original LodeRunner.
Correct
You are correct. I always thought it was cool that he was playing a game whose objective was to defend a planet from nuclear war.
