May her memory be eternal.
I’m so sorry; my condolences.
May her memory be a blessing.
So sorry to hear it. She and her gorgeous cat avatar will be missed.
So sorry to hear this. {{{support to wherever it’s needed}}}
Well, this makes me sad. My condolences to all who loved her.
Oh, Lord, I’m so, so, so sorry! She was so brave and strong! Her posts made me feel that, if anyone could beat that horrid disease, she would. At least it can’t hurt her anymore!
I’m very sorry to hear it.
I’m so sorry to hear this news. Thank you, @Boggette for being there with her. Hugs to you and all her friends and family.
This is the first time I’ve seen this thread. I didn’t know she was sick.
RIP, Morgyn. Condolences to her loved ones.
RIP, Morgyn. You will be missed.
I had been dreading seeing this news. Pancreatic cancer is usually a death sentence. A friend of mine died from it last year only a month after diagnosis. I admired how brave and positive Morgyn was. She was a fine example of how to face adversity. RIP.
If guts and positivity were medicine, then @Morgyn would have eliminated not just her own cancer, but the disease itself would have never appeared again.
I’m sorry to hear about her passing. Condolences to her family and friends.
May we all be so blessed as to have ourselves surrounded by loved ones when it’s our time to go.
So sorry
Morgyn was part of the old guard. I think I met her after I moved to Philly in the early '00s. I’m pretty sure one of the first times I met her was when we had a board game day in our apartment. She brought original Arkham Horror, so I thank her for introducing me to one of my favorite game series. It was also her birthday, and when I found out not only that but that she loved chocolate, I made her a chocolate cake with frosting from scratch. She hadn’t expected it, but she was touched. And I was happy I could make her day a little more special.
One of my favorite memories is of a bunch of us coming back from, I think, DaveW007's Rib Fest. She told us about a book store in Cranbury NJ called The Cranbury Bookworm. We were in heaven as we wandered from room to room, books everywhere. IIRC, she had a huge armload of books before we finally got out of there.
I haven’t seen her in so many years - it was easier when Hubby and I lived in Philly to get together with some regularity, but after our move to Nashville, it was so much harder. But that didn’t stop the friendship I had with her. I always loved her for her big heart and her sense of humor. I loved talking books and board games with her. I loved her sense of justice. I just loved my friend and now I miss her. I wish I had one more time to get a huge hug from her and to tell her how much she meant to Hubby and I. But I think she knows.
