I’m off to London next week and in all my planning, I just can’t seem to find many activities or destinations that open before 10. Does anybody know of any?
Since you’re looking for advice and suggestions more than facts, I’ll move this thread to the IMHO forum.

Take a trip on an Underground train at about 08.00 hrs. Any line would do but I’d recommend the Northern or Jubilee. That’s a load of fun - you’re jammed up against someone’s sweaty armpit and it costs more.
I think there are some street markets that are open pretty early – you might enjoy one of them.
Westminster Abbey opens at 9:30 – not much before 10, but you’ll want to get there early anyways so you can be one of the first in line. Also, they have some early services that might be interesting; St Paul’s probably does as well.
Oh, I’ve already had that fun many times and in a couple cities.
weather.com’s ten-day forecast is generally good - so why worry about opening hours? There’s a huge array of things to see outdoors, with the two easiest suggestions being a stroll around Parliament Square & Whitehall, or a walk along the south bank from Westminster to Tower Bridge.
Many years ago when I was there I had breakfast at the Savoy. Not cheap, but memorable. Kippers, toast in the little racks, the whole nine yards.
