It’s odd: In the Mid-Atlantic region, there is always talk about the mosquito population being a concern since our winters have been so mild over the recent years. Yet, even in Maine, the mosquitos are still a problem…and even odder, a tour book says the Yukon has mosquito problems.
You’d think the further north you go, the less of a problem mosquitos would be. But, what gives? Is the Mid-Atlantic region under false pretenses, or is it just that the mosquito season has lengthened (thus raising the mosquito population) in the Mid-Atlantic?
