Most Americans oppose offshoring. We need to take action.

Do Not Feed The Tool.

What sort of savings would this message board earn if we offshored our trolls? Could we get rid of some of the adds for the guests? There has to be a Chinese version of Le Jacquelope that’s not nearly as pricey.

Can’t get trolls of this quality from China.

Cite that I said any of that?

Although I’m not surprised at all that it’s what you hear. Must be nice living in such a simplistic world.

By the way, have you read this yet

And by this post I assume you have no rebuttal. China reduced tariffs from 34% to 17%, and then saw decades of growth.

So all you have to do is show that they had higher growth at 34% tarrifs than they did at 17%. More tariffs is more gooder, right?

Where is the cat? You keep opening doors, but there are no cats. Did you eat them? Do trolls eat cats when they aren’t fed enough on message boards? I didn’t realize you’d been neglected.

One has to wonder how prosperous America would be if we sent every job overseas that wasn’t nailed down and brought in illegals to do the rest.

I mean… everything would be cheaper, and that’s all that counts.

Their currency is not ‘supertariff-esque’ devalued. Countries that would like to sell more stuff to China think it’s undervalued. Personally I am closer to disagreeing, but opinions can vary. Either way, you also seem to have the impression that the yuan has been plummeting like a rock these past few years. Do you even know what the yuan/dollar rate is? Do you know what the rate has been historically? What rate do you think it should be at?

Or are you taking the ‘China is super undervaluing its currency!’ stance while foaming at the mouth simply because of some blog post or youtube video? Is that the same one that told you 'we can raise wages in the US by slapping tariffs on brown countries!:rolleyes::rolleyes:

One also has to wonder if we only talked in abstract generalities would some stuff not be as good as some other stuff?

Ha, I noticed he’s not quoting any of us, which means he’s now just posting at random.

I think we can chalk this one up as a ‘W’ and let the horned one wallow in misery and defeat.

Misery? Defeat? You sure have a big opinion of your skills here. Your entire pro-offshoring argument fell flat on its face from day one - which is why you lost your gourd and had to resort to racial attacks.

I’m here now just to torment you. Not only have you lost this argument - badly, no less - but you’re losing ground with the public, too.

You’re fighting me so hard because the rest of America is tuning you out. Tell me again, how many politicians out there proudly campaign on stopping laws against offshoring anymore?

Your True Believer racism against Americans is getting downright boring. Especially since even the Economist admits that offshoring holds no benefits for workers - except maybe somewhere way over yonder rainbow. Oh yes, now the Economist is a blog post.

Feel free to continue to rant at me - but I am part of the American majority. We’re no longer going to be silent. And we’re going to hound your kind and expose you until you and your globalist toadies leave America and find some other economy to drive into the dirt. Don’t worry, we’ll do just fine without your globalism; we always have.

And the fight against offshoring marches on… slowly but inexorably…

The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step. Heh.

About as many as are proudly campaigning against the ‘job-killing healthcare reform act’. Your point is?

I’d pity you, except that much of your incoherent, rambling, meaningless bleatings appear to be from self-induced ignorance. Seriously, you get dumber by the day, and your recent plaintive bleats are registering somewhere around mid-June.

This doesn’t stop offshoring of consumer data screening etc. Merely tells companies they have to inform customers if client data is sent offshore. Something that privacy policy acts already to large extent cover, depending on the state.

But it does have ‘regulate’ and ‘offshoring’ in the same title, so feel free to claim this as a moral victory while ignoring the other 450 posts with other evidence you don’t look at because it makes your stomach queasy!

The public loves cheap electronics. Tell me again how many politicians are campaigning to make everything more expensive, in the hopes that some day wages might catch up?

And we’re still waiting for an example of a country that’s implemented tariffs and experienced economic growth.

I guess there’s North Korea, so maybe you are on to something, I was just saying the other day how much I’d like to live like I’m in North Korea.

Wow, your reading comprehension is really shit, isn’t it? I didn’t say they stopped it. Where did I say that? What in your deranged miserably excuse for a brain told you that I said we STOPPED it? I said we took one step forward here.

With a Democrat as a Governor there’ll be no one to stop us from taking step 2 - which is to pass a law STOPPING California from offshoring any Government work. Or maybe even pushing this background check law to the point of outlawing offshoring in that field, too. (Depending on whether that steps on the Feds’ toes.)

Learn to read. Your other 450 posts in here only make me laugh harder at you. Now go see your mom again, she’s losing TV reception in the sticks and needs to adjust the antenna sticking out of your head.

Translation: you have no reading comprehension skills and your temper tantrums are getting worse as you realize how little support your insane views have in this society. Which is why I love taunting you.

Funny how you waver back and forth, from ‘we’re gaining ground in our fight against offshoring’ to ‘we’re in the majority in America’. Saying how much ‘support’ you have.

And yet in this thread, you are the lonely voice in the desert, shouting into the wind. Do you not wonder why? I know ignorance is bliss and all, but really…

Because this thread, and this forum, is representative of America as a whole. It couldn’t possibly be that you’re woefully out of touch with the rest of society. Nosiree.

You guys know better than everyone else. Even though you cannot and have not even so much as shown how offshoring benefits the working class beyond the one-dimensional argument of “lowest prices!” or “higher unemployment is good for businesses!” All you can argue is that, somewhere, over the rainbow, offshoring will prove beneficial to the working class.

You, sir, sell snake oil. And America is no longer in the mood for buying.

Unless by “snake oil” you mean “cheap products”, in which case America is in the mood to buy. That’s really all anyone’s been trying to explain to you.
