Most badass Star Wars car ever

I just saw this car outside my apartment building and had to take some photos of it. I blurred the license plate for privacy but even the plates were a Star Wars reference.

The attention to detail is amazing, then it was even more amazing-er when I noticed the burn marks on the car next to the gun muzzles.

The infamous slayer of the empires cars, the “Imperial Car Destroyer” .

D&R

That’s way cool.

My wife is very fortunate that I settled for simply getting a Star Wars-themed license plate, with a little X-wing dangler on the windshield, and a Rebel Alliance sticker on the rear passenger window.

I’ve seen photos of that car before, the guy did a really good job on it. Needless to say, it’s popular at Star Wars conventions. Here’s a web page about it:

I’ve also seen pics of it before. As cool as it is, I would have like it more if it was based on a cooler car than a Del Sol.

Hey, Shawn upgraded the H-Wing!

Last time I saw it, it didn’t have the concussion missiles in the front.

I just noticed something…do the doors open?

The Rebel Alliance is a bit hard up for cash.

They must… you mean because of the way the tubes connected to the turret appear to cross over the hinge? Good catch, I don’t know if that restricts it.

What car would you liked it to be based off of?

Yeah.
Maybe those tubes are solid/rigid and the other end just appears to be mounted to the body.

that car fucking rocks

Yup. Even a Mazda Miata could have a cool landspeeder look to it with the top down and taking its front end into account.

If you look at my link (which includes a night shot with the neon on and a shot of the driver), there’s a shot of the guns from the reverse. The tubes do not actually connect to the gun, and the gun is mounted on the door, the doors can open.

Also note the St. Chr… er, Ghost Obi-Wan figure.

Not to be too much of a negative-Neddy, but that guy must get laid like never…

Budget aside, of course, just going with the general body style, a Doge Viper, Toyota MR2, or even a Pontiac Fiero would be better. My personal choice would be a Lotus Elise.

I nominate the Mark II Toyota Supra. Nice angle-y surfaces

I’ve been tossing around the idea of installing an R2 unit on the roof of my Jeep.

This guy… I like this guy!
