Christopher Chance from Human Target gets mangled in every episode.
I’m working through season five on DVD and it’s not quite as often as that. He was duffed up by a biker gang in the last episode I watched though
Another vote for Rockford
If we’re going to count verbal abuse in place of physical violence, then I would throw the name “Meg Griffen” out there.
Not many will remember this show, but the wonderful character actor Ross Martin played the sidekick in the TV show Mr. Lucky. He was constantly being beat up, slugged, knocked out, thrown overboard (it took place on a floating casino ship), roughed up or whatever. It was so prevelant that on one show Martin’s character Andamo says, “Sorry I’m late boss, but I didn’t hear the proclamation,”
“What Proclamation?”
“That it was hit Andamo day.”
Yeah, he was really head and shoulders apart the rest.
Steve Trevor from Wonder Woman. Dude has been knocked unconscious, drugged, and kidnapped so many times that he should be brain dead from all the concussions by now.
I never watched Rockford.
Explains a lot.
Can’t believe no one’s mentioned the redshirt security guys on Star Trek yet. 'Course, they got killed more often than beaten up…
BUSTER.
(Mythbusters)
.
Matt Dillon survived more gunshots than anyone should expect to.
Whoever said Westen is right, he arranged for Bruce Campbell (his friend in the show) to torture him. When you’re setting your friends up and getting them to torture you just to get information you need - that’s badass.
New episodes of BN are coming back on June 3rd I just saw which is incredible.
Heh, this was one of the first questions Jimmy Kimmel asked Michael Emerson on his show tonight.
Kimmel: How many times were you beaten up on the show?
Emerson: How many episodes was I in?
