most beautiful woman in rock/country/pop history

Until tonight there were only two choices for me. Oh BTW they must have talent. Emmylou Harris and Linda Rondstadt. Then I watched a video of Mazzy Star, Fade Into You. Didn’t know them when they first put out albums, heard them years later but never saw a video. Hope Sandoval is now nominated.

I would nominate Dolly Parton in her younger days, without the excessive makeup. Jennifer Lopez. Probably so many more who recorded in this century. I am old, 57, haven’t kept up with all the latest music. I hear Beyonce is pretty hot

I’ll add Jewel, but only because of her duet with Merle Haggard on Silver Wings.

Susanna Hoffs, lead singer of the Bangles.

And speakjing of duets with Merle, not my preferred hairstyle, but Tammy Wynette was pretty hot.

The apocalypse has truly arrived if it takes five posts before someone mentions Debby Harry.

Marilyn McCoo.

You have a type.

I also have a type, but I wouldn’t class those women as the most beautiful, I just like 'em. Not gonna list them here and confuse the issue.

Instead, as far as beauty goes, I’d include:
[ul]
[li]Olivia Newton John[/li][li]Taylor Swift[/li][li]Nancy Sinatra[/li][li]Britney Spears[/li][li]Michelle Phillips[/li][li]Alizée[/li][/ul]
In their heydey at least.

I agree, but you should have inked to a picture of her with her80’s perm.

Linda Ronstadt, Britney Spears, Joan Jett, Taylor Swift, and Lady Gaga would probably be my top five.

Sophia Loren.

Shania Twain.

If you let the Pageant Industry define marketable beauty, all you need to do is match the woman against the template.

In the other world, all women are beautiful, and just have to smile and let it out.

Among those mentioned so far, I’d probably go with Marylin McCoo.

Mike Mabes: Why didn’t you return to your “why can’t I lead the life I want to lead?” thread in MPSIMS? You asked for advice and got lots of good ideas.

I’m pretty sure we’ll all have our own definitions of “beautiful” but certainly the pre-teen version of me was knocked out by the overall package of Debbie Harry, stunning look, great performer… a fascinating and attractive woman regardless of any indivuduals concept of “beauty”

Shakira is a stunningly beautiful woman. Katy Perry is also remarkably beautiful even by the standards of pop stars.

Shania Twain and Faith Hill were both pretty nice…

Katy Melua

I’d choose Marylin McCoo, also. Honorable mention to Gracie Slick and Joan Jett.

Many pale women here.

Prettiest without question.

Most beautiful is Cyndi Lauper.
