Most distant ancestor you've personally met

All of my great-grandparents were dead before I was born, but I met my great-great grandfather once when I was 3 or 4 (which I don’t remember) and once when I was 9 (which I remember clearly.) He died a year later at age 104. He outlived 2 wives and worked as a farmer and blacksmith and lived alone until about age 101.

I knew my great-great aunt well, who was sort of the equivolent of my great-grandmother because she raised my mom’s mom. She died when I was 13. I think she was about 94.

Well, I had this wacky adventure with a time machine that ended up with me meeting Adam and Eve . . . but its a long story and I have to run.

As a little girl I met, and sort of remember, my maternal great-grandmother.
