Under the Skin (2013) has a memorable scene on a rocky isolated beach. There are a couple of rough water drownings and an assault on an exhausted swimmer, but the most disturbing aspect is that the lead character (Scarlett Johansson as an empathy impaired… alien?) completely ignores a screaming infant whose parents have just drowned and who is almost certain to tumble into the water or die of exposure.

An old John getting a telephone reciever rammed down his throat by prostitute Jon Voight in “Midnight Cowboy”.
Buddy getting burned to death by turning on a ceiling lightbulb that was injected with some sort flammable accelerant in the “The Longest Yard”.
Buddies geting picked off at the end of “Easy Rider”
