Adam Smith?

Yes, without his Trading Company, I could NEVER support my civilzations. It’s probably the best Wonder until the Hoover Dam comes along. And it never expires!

Though wouldn’t adamsmith.com be a better domain?

Though that’s only if we exclude Adam Warlock, who stopped the world from being conqered by goofy lupine villains on several occasions, all the while in Luke Skywalker hair. Or the biblical Adam . . .

I’d say Art Adams is out of the running, unfortunatly. And a Royal Curse upon the first person who mentions Adam Sandler . . .

“And now hear the words of Mahatma Ghandi, whose words are backed by NUCLEAR WEAPONS!

Charles Addams, or possibly Atom Ant.

How about Scott Adams?

Who is the most influential Adams? You missed it by that much. Go Don!

 You neglected the Addams family
That would still be my vote, for most influental. At least for my generation.

And then Comes Ansel (as he is hanging above my head at this very moment) heh.

I’d like to meet Cecil one day, or at least play footsies with him on a carnival ride. heh.

Sam Adams has a few good brews yes - but nothing to top a good Blue Moon Belgian White.

Lived in Quincy, Mass - Can’t say John Quincy Adams made too nice of a town there. * just a humble opinion, no need for attacking if you live there and love it *

To be just a little bit serious here, if any one person can be credited with starting the American Revolution, it is Sam Adams. In the years leading up to the Revolution, Sam was the moving force in almost every act of resistance to the British Crown that took place in and around Boston, to include the Boston Massacre and the Boston Tea Party. He was surely the leading rabble rouser and propagandist of the Independence Movement. In the end, Sam was able to start a revolution but was not suited to bringing it to a successful conclusion. That took more stable personalities, like his cousin, John Adams.

His beer is pretty good, too.
