Most jaw-dropping/WTF! television moment you’ve seen SCRIPTED Division

How about Greys anatomy and that one doctor getting first his arm chopped off by a helicopter- then having one kill him off?

You mean E.R. right?

House of Cards, did NOT see this coming & made me realize how evil Frank Underwood could be.

Oh, good one.

It was foreshadowed when Frank initiated the affair with Zoe by saying older men always hurt you, then they always drop you

Ha! Not jaw dropping at all if you saw the original UK series. My reaction was “Took him long enough.”

Yeah, I bet she didn’t take it quite that literally. He dropped her alright, and I bet it hurt when he dropped her right in front of that train.

Maybe you are right. Still ridiculous.

Lawrence Welk celebrating the modern spiritual, “One Toke Over The Line”.
“Sweet Jesus” indeed.

Yes, that was a big wtf, but at least it was humorous. What shocked me more was when Lane’s hanging corpse is discovered in his office. We’d seen that he was despondent and tried to asphyxiate himself in his car, but being a Jaguar ,it wouldn’t start. At the time, I really thought that was the end of it (suicide-wise). His poor, purple face . . .ugh.

When Poochie died on the way back to his home planet.

in the 90s Chicago was flooded out a couple of times and this came over into scripted media

ER was a show I wanted to watch but never managed to catch it in the first season

Well in the 2nd season, there was a flood and mark had to save a pregnant woman with what was the most graphic birth scene I’ve ever seen on TV…baby lived but mom didn’t and after that, I watched the show until Clooney Hathaway and mark left …

OMG, I hated that show, but I seriously wished I’d seen that.

Came here to post that one.

Since it’s been taken, I’ll go with the season 5 episode of old SDMB favorite 24, in which Jack Bauer has discovered evidence that the Vice President is responsible for arming the Chechan terrorists responsible for the assassination of former president David Palmer and a nerve gas attack at the Fontana airport earlier that day, when he’s managed to track down and rescue a witness being hunted by government hitmen, and he asks her what she knows about the plot.

Turns out the veep is completely innocent - instead, it’s President Charles Logan himself who’s the Big Bad of that season.

You can! Right here. (I’ve actually heard it on Muzak.)

“Manifest” was one bizarre tangent after another.

Wow, you know, I think I have seen it. I think it was that same clip on line somewhere in the misty past. I love how they (or she actually) really starts rocking at the end. I wonder if they knew and snuck it by Lawrence, or they really thought it was a,“modern spiritual?”

Well, the band certainly knew.

Welk’s?

Agreed.
