I appear to have some clothes moths in my house.
I see I can buy clothes moth traps online for around nine dollars. I’ve looked at stores in my area and I’ve found moth traps for around five dollars. But these are pantry moth traps. So does anyone know if pantry moth traps will work on clothes moths?
I am far from an expert on this subject, but my understanding is that these traps are baited with pheromones, and as such, are very species specific. I would think that if one trap would work for both types of moths, they would advertise it that way (traps many types of moth pests!).
Yes, that’s what I suspected.
