Motorcycle headlights

Yesterday I had a motorcycle behind me with two headlights. This struck me as moderately odd – what struck me as truly odd was that they were two different colors – the one on the “passenger” side was a regular white light, but the one on the “driver” side was tinted kind of a greeny-blue.

Does this have some significance?

(No, I don’t know what kind of bike it was – it was behind me.)

I’d bet that one was a replacement bulb, and they didn’t replace with an exact replacement.

I’ve seen the same happen on cars.

No significance, either the greenish bulb was replaced and didnt mach the remaining bulb, or it was done deliberately as a custom effect. If the bike itself was green or blue, it was probably the latter.

Yeah, it was a blue bike – that’s probably it.

Thanks!

When one of my headlights burned out on my R1 I bought a pair of high-intensity (‘blue’) lamps. No sense replacing the lamp that wasn’t burned out, so I have one yellow and one blue light. When the original right-side handlamp burns out, then I’ll pu the other blue one in.
