Motorcycle

XS650 (The Tokyo Bonneville)

The first one of those I rode was not exactly stock. It had about a 14 over narow spring front end, and a ridgid frame. It road great util I hit a speed bump and it started pogoing, Scary thing that…
Bikes that light should not be in ridgid frames(including Triumphs IMHO).

Speaking of which, Triumph is making a killer vertical twin now.

I ride a 1974 Harley FLH, myself.

Love the R1, Jax! That colour is SO cool. Big pipe, too.

Although this is not my Divvy, it looks like this one.

I know, not exactly an R1, but it puts a smile on my face. For now.

I took out a '81 Yamaha XS 400 Special yesterday. Really good shape, except I wasn’t terribly impressed with the handlebar style.

They were really narrow, almost like a 50s style bicycle-- you know, that narrow U-shape.

How easy is it to change the handlebars on a motorcycle?

i figured it out! Kuroashi’s friend is either Jesus Christ or Married!

Marriage isn’t a word, its a sentance.

Someone just got on top of the list of people it’s very hard to feel sorry for… :stuck_out_tongue:

Has anyone noticed what Honda’s done with the VFR Interceptor this year ? Those 4-in-2 under-the-saddle exhausts look pretty damn good. Whoah!

OK, I know, a VFR is what sportsbike riders buy when they get old, and the linked brake system is an abomination - but dammit, it’s a sweet looking bike.

And the passenger footrests are integrated with the hard luggage system, no unsightly holders and frames when the bags are off. <siiiigh> (After strapping luggage on a 748, I’ve come to realize how nice it must be to just click bags on  )

Dammit, I think I want one!

Now I’m thinking that maybe I should not get another bike at all. I should sell my Bolex movie cameras, maybe the Eclair NPR, the '46 Willys, two Rolexes, and anything else I can come up with. I found one of these.
