Not to mention I don’t have that sort of agility.
I’ll take protection over acrobatics; no slight against you, Lanzy, if it works for you.
To be fair, these were a type that were neoprene with leather patches on each side of the palm. The patches spread, the neoprene ripped, causing the patches to spread even more, and I finished the slide with half a glove on. On the other hand, I haven’t heard anything good about FirstGear products. My buddy had a jacket that he said leaked very bad, even though it toted itself as waterproof. They’re just one of the cheapest products on the market, and it really shows in their quality. FWIW, I really like CorTech.
Sorry for the hijack,** FourPaws.**
Hey, that’s how we learn. This is about bikes and riding, I don’t mind; anything goes.
I generally try to buy gloves, pants, and jackets from Joe Rocket. They are durable and I prefer Kevlar padding. I’ve never had a problem with their gear (unless the dogs chew on it sigh)
Its all relative, at least I have a choice most times. Just not much to worry about, not like running through the jungle getting shot at.
But that hasn’t happened lately either.
