$100,000 bail because he mouthed off to the wrong guy.
Good.
I hate people who stand still and have conversations on the damned streets. Serves him right.
When I lived in Arlington, VA, many of my fellow citizens believed that the fact that their car was equipped with hazard lights gave them the right to become a hazard. Some of them could have used an encounter with unmarked police vehicles.
Looks like Mr. Rico Cordero just had a hefty dose of instant karma.
A pocket full of drugs, a load of cash, a stolen car. Yep, that’s the time to give a stranger some bad-mouth. Dumbass
Ah this makes me sooooooooo happy.
This post was not what I expected … I expected something similar to my experience on Valentine’s Day a couple of years back …
Was running late for a dinner reservation, so I was admittedly a little rushed. I was in a left-turn-only lane on a three-lane-wide one-way street. The car in front of me stopped 10 yards from the light, right beneath a “No Parking/Stopping” sign and just sat there. The light turned green, and he didn’t move … so I tapped on my horn once or twice. Waited a few seconds, and no responses. I flashed my lights and tapped my horn. No response. I laid on the horn one more time, and when he didn’t move, I swung around him, gave a little toot on my horn as I went by. No sooner did I get in front of him (I did need to turn left, after all) then this unmarked cop flipped his bluelights on and I pulled over.
I was polite to Mr. Police Officer, explained that yes I was in a hurry, I would slow down in the future, and I apologized for being so rushed.
But he WAS stopped in a “No Stopping” zone (which was going to be my argument if he gave me a ticket, which he did not) … an item which I did not bring up to him when he asked for my license & registration.
How could he not tell its an unmarked cruiser? where i live most unmarked crusiers are crown victorias with 3 antennas and a spotlight on the drivers window.
